Use these settings to create Adobe PDF documents via Adobe InDesign Creative Suite, best suited for high-quality prepress & CTP production at Southern Colour (Vic) Pty Ltd. Created PDF documents can be opened with Acrobat and Adobe Reader 8.0 and later. Transparency will be kept "Live".
Adobe Colour Settings File - Coated Substrates
Use for the preparation of content for high quality printing conditions on Coated Substrates (Paper types 1 & 2) at Southern Colour (VIC) Pty Ltd. Dot Gain and primary colour values are based on the ISO 12647:2 2013 standard. CMYK values are preserved. Profile warnings are enabled.

Use for the preparation of content for high quality printing conditions on Uncoated Substrates (Paper type 4) at Southern Colour (VIC) Pty Ltd. Dot Gain and primary colour vlaues are based on the ISO 12647:2 2013 standard. CMYK values are preserved. Profile warnings are enabled.
ICC Profile - Coated Substrates
The ECI offset profile PSOcoated_v3.icc is based on the characterisation data set “FOGRA51.txt” applicable to the following reference printing condition according to the international standard ISO 12647-2:2013: Commercial and specialty offset, Premium coated paper, tone value increase curve 2013-A, white backing. This profile will produce a total dot area 300% and maximum black of 96%
ICC Profile - Uncoated Substrates
The ECI offset profile PSOuncoated_v3_ FOGRA52.icc is based on the characterisation data set “FOGRA52.txt” applicable to the following reference printing condition according to the international standard ISO 12647-2:2013: Commercial and specialty offset, wood-free uncoated white paper, tone value increase curve 2013-C, white backing. This profile will produce a total dot area 300% and maximum black of 96%
